Community Recreational Initiatives Society (CRIS)  is dedicated to making outdoor adventures accessible to people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should have the means and opportunity to enjoy the beauties of the world around us, especially here in the spectacular Okanagan Valley. Many people in our community would not have access to that wider world without your generous support. We do not charge an attendance fee, but rather ask that each participant pay what they are able. While this allows everyone the chance to enjoy our programs, it also means that we depend upon your generosity to help keep the door to that greater world open. CRIS programs support the mental and physical health of those with disabilities, and also promote understanding and integration within the community. Your donations make it all possible!

CRIS adheres to the Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code, a commitment to manage responsibly the funds that donors entrust to us and to report our financial affairs accurately and completely. CRIS’ annual information report can be found on the Canada Revenue Agency’s charities website; our federal charity registration number is 870544715 RR0001.
