Adaptive Wilderness Adventure (AWA) is an international adventure travel organization run tailored specifically for people with disabilities. AWA also offers specialized programs for individuals who have a specific objective in mind.
"Our mandate is to make the adventure world accessible for all travel and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy." CRIS Adaptive Adventures offers AWA programs at various times throughout the year. Different trips and locations are offered each year and we encourage participants to suggest new locations and activities for expeditions they would like to participate in.
Whether it's climbing Machu Picchu or Mt. Kilimanjaro, taking a journey along The Great Wall of China, or kayaking the shores of the Galapagos Islands, CRIS Adaptive Wilderness Adventure volunteers are geared up and rearing to go!! Maybe exploring the deep valleys of the Grand Canyon, cycling the back roads of Europe or the outback of Australia, or taking in the vast array of marine life around Canada's Vancouver Island is more your thing!! Whatever the desire, Adaptive Wilderness Adventures have unlimited expedition possibilities. For details on our international trips please contact our friendly staff at our office.
