Limitless

The Story

Group of hikers ascending a rocky mountain trail with a scenic landscape of a lake, forest, and mountains in the background.

Raid the Rockies is one of Canada's most demanding expedition races. Multi-day. Mountainous. Relentless. The kind of event that tests every person on a team physically, mentally, and in every way that matters.

Clayton March is going to race it.

Clayton is an adaptive athlete with Cerebral Palsy. He's also a competitor, a teammate, and the person at the centre of Limitless. It is a feature documentary that follows Clayton and his team through every stage of the expedition. The preparation. The terrain. The sleepless nights. The moments where bodies and minds reach their limit and the only thing left is the person beside you.

At first glance, this looks like a story about disability and athletic achievement.

It's not. Or rather, it's not only that.

What the film is really about

As the race unfolds, something shifts. The lens widens. What emerges is a portrait of people navigating adversity together: sharing burdens, adapting to changing conditions, and discovering that strength is not found in independence. It's found in connection.

The wilderness has a way of stripping away assumptions. About who is strong. About who needs help. About what it actually means to persevere. In Limitless, those assumptions don't survive the mountains. What replaces them is something more honest, and more universal.

Everyone carries limitations. Every person depends on others to move forward. That's not a disability story. That's a human story.

By the film's conclusion, adaptability is no longer framed as something Clayton has that others don't. It becomes something we all share: a necessity, not an exception. And support is revealed for what it truly is: not a sign of weakness, but one of humanity's greatest strengths.

The race

Raid the Rockies is a multi-discipline staged adventure race run through the mountain terrain of the Canadian Rockies. Teams navigate on foot, by bike, and in boats through some of the most demanding backcountry conditions in the country. Competitors face sleep deprivation, altitude, weather, and the kind of cumulative physical toll that reveals character in ways that nothing else can.

Clayton and the Adaptive Wilderness Expeditions team will race it together. Completion-focused, fully supported, and documented at every stage.
